Meaning of the Four Blood Moons for the Body of Christ

Joel 2:31 NLT

The sun will become dark,
and the moon will turn blood red
before that great and terrible day of the Lord arrives.

There seems to be a lot of talk about the four blood moons among Christians and outside of the Church. Many people want to know what it all means. I have purposely kept myself from hearing what it's been said, except for what the Lord has directed me to read and hear so I can hear what He is saying about this with purity. The Lord directed me to only two sources that mentioned the four blood moons to help me in hearing what He intends to do and then He built on the information I received through these sources: a video by Pastor Linae Lloyd of Life Force Ministries in Sumner, Washington, and an article from the Elijah list Prophetic Website by Aimee Herd dated April 12, 2014. So here is what the Lord showed me about the meaning of the four blood moons:

1. This will be a time for the changing of the guards: This is a time in which the body of Christ, and the world will experience a change in leadership. The children of God that He has raised up for such a time as this are coming to the forefront and will be taking their assigned places in leadership like Joshua replaced Moses in order to lead the children of Israel to the promised land (Joshua 1:1-2). Some of them are pioneers that will lead others into once uncharted territory. Moses was not able to complete his assignment because he allowed his flesh to get in the way of the purposes of God for His people. In the same way, many leaders in the body of Christ and in the secular world became an obstacle to God's purpose for these end-times because of their contamination with the spirit of Antichrist that caused them to fall and feed wrong doctrines to their sheep and those they influenced. Some of these leaders will take a step aside in order to be restored back to their first love (Jesus), but will be returned to their positions with more power and authority after the process chosen by God for them is completed. Others, also perhaps due to deception, misunderstanding, or misplacement, have taken the wrong place away from their callings and God's purpose for them, but will be aligned to God's plan and purpose for this season in their lives, so they can be the effective vessels they are called to be in their true callings and spheres of influence. There are others that will be replaced because they have filled themselves with the vile ways of the world system (Antichrist) and have gone beyond the point of no return in apostasy and their defiance will no longer be tolerated, nor will they be allowed to feed deceptive doctrines to those they have been influencing. Yet others will be called back home for their assignments on earth have been fulfilled.


2. Manifestations of the Sons of God: The manifestation of the sons and daughters of God that the earth has been groaning for will also come during this time for these are vessels that have not bowed to the Antichrist spirit like Samuel who was raised by the Lord. It was also Samuel who judged the mammom practices in the temple with his intersessions (1 Samuel 2:12-18). King Saul, a Benjamite from the family of Kish, failed to fulfill his commission to do away with the Antichrist influence represented by the Amalekite people and for this reason was replaced by David, a man after God's own heart (God`s heart to remove and war against the influence of the Antichrist spirit--Exodus 17:14-16) for David was able to fulfill God's will in his generation and later handed over the rulership of the Kingdom to his son Solomon with peace. In addition, these are people like Esther, the cousin of Mordecai, also a Benjamite and descendant of Kish, who had been raised for her time to accomplish what King Saul had failed to do in his generation. In the same way, many in former generations failed to remove the Antichrist influence in their spheres of influence due to ignorance of who the true God is and the ways of His Kingdom, or even because they rejected and were rebellious against Him. This made it more difficult for the next generations to remove that influence until one person rose to take on the challenge and free her generation, like Esther, from this vile influence that wanted to remove not only the presence of the Jewish people from the land in those days, but in these end-times, it has attempted to exterminate the name of Jesus from the land and wars against God's people and our worship of Him as the One and only True God. Through these attempts, the enemy had plotted to stop or obstruct the plans and purposes of God for His people and the commission given to the Church for these end-times to cooperate with the Lord of all the earth (Psalm 24:1) in order to become the most influential of the seven mountains of society to which people of all walks of life will gather to hear the word of the Lord and learn how to be of influence in their places of assignment for the Kingdom of God (Isaiah 2, Micah 4). 
   
   
3. The Groom is Coming for His Bride: As mentioned above, I was led of the Lord to read an article on the Elijah List by Aimee Herd. In it, it mentions some of the dates for the appearances of the blood moons which are said to make their appearances during a period of a year. Some of us in the body have been shown that the Father has already commissioned His Son to come and get his bride (His Church). But there is one major problem: due to the influence of the Antichrist that infiltrated her but has started to be removed, the bride is not ready to receive her King, for she will not be able to recognize him for the most part and would follow many who call themselves the Christ, instead. So starting this one year period, the Lord will bring acceleration for His Church to return to her first love and get to know Him all over again. The Church has been mostly stagnated in her knowledge of God and of the ways of His Kingdom in lower levels than is expected of her for such a time as this. Just as we have stages in our growth from birth to adulthood, we also grow spiritually in stages. We know our parents as babies, toddlers, preteens, and adolescents. At these levels our parents relate to us with training and coaching, in which only a certain kind of information is given to us because that is all we can handle in our understanding of our relationship with them. But when we mature into adulthood, we can be entrusted with more to the point of becoming our parents' friend. At this level we can also get married. When we get married, there should be no shame in appearing naked before our spouse and uncover to discover each other in intimacy. It is the same with our Lord in which more “classified” information is revealed and we can seat at the King's table to partake of the strategies He gives to  us to advance His Kingdom on the earth to save that which is lost. As we are being developed in our ranks as His warrior bride, we learn to remove the Antichrist influence that is in the way of our harvest to advance the Kingdom of God in our spheres of influence with the consciousness and understanding that to much is given much is required . The Church has failed to come to this level of understanding of their relationship with Christ and has been greatly defeated and weakened in her influence in the land. But Jesus is wooing His bride back into His arms in order for her to come to this place of intimacy with Him for the whole world to see and become hungry for the same, for He is the lover of her soul. He will heal her wounds, and will remove the spots and wrinkles given by the enemy and will restore her youth like the eagles.
   
   
4. New Dispensation of the Operation of God's Great Grace: As a body, we have become good at giving alms and helping the poor and destitute in our communities. But the early Church that was founded after the death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus understood that they all had all things in common and shared their possessions with each other so that none would lack among them (Acts 2:44-45; 4: 33-37). The Old Testament gives great testimony of this common practice among the Jewish people not only on a regular basis, but specially every Sabbath or Shemitah year. In the New Testament this became the way of the early Church that not only testified of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus from the dead, but made sure that not one among her members had any lack, so they all would be free to worship the Lord and grow to maturity in the knowledge of Him and of the Ways of His Kingdom. This practice was also designed by God to remove worry from His people of not having their necessities supplied, which could cause them to be detoured from following after God due to distractions with the cares of the world. The enemy has worked hard in the past to keep the Church blind to this dispensation of God's Great Grace for His people, but we do have a Loving God Who loves to lavish on us the bounty of His Kingdom so we can partake of the common wealth of the Church with each other. This will also help in making her an effective means for the world to turn to seek the Lord and become followers of Jesus. Moreover, with the help and positioning of the five fold Ministry, God will nourish the body of Christ fully until she is united and perfected in the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-16). Then she will be strong in her knowledge of Christ and very influential in the land, and great multiplications of finances, resources, and followers will manifest for she will be able to take what she has outside of her four walls and extend it with signs and wonders to her spheres of influence. To Him alone be all the glory.■
