The Welfare System of the Church 4: How the Scrawny Cows Ate the Fat Cows

2} In his dream he saw seven fat, healthy cows come up out of the river and begin grazing in the marsh grass. ³ Then he saw seven more cows come up behind them from the Nile, but these were scrawny and thin. These cows stood beside the fat cows on the riverbank. ⁴ Then the scrawny, thin cows ate the seven healthy, fat cows! At this point in the dream, Pharaoh woke up. NLT

This fourth teaching of this series ties them all together and in this post we will learn how to avoid experiencing the effect of the scrawny cows that eat the fatness of our land. In the previous teachings in this series we discovered that this is a Sabbath year of rest from works and of augmenting our time seeking God’s presence in our lives. This is to be done until He comes to habitate among us and not just to visit. This is also a year in which we give the firsrfruits of our riches to the Church, and by this corporate obedience we are removing the influence of mammon, religion, and the controlling ways of the Jezebel spirit from our midst which are the main manifestations of the Antichrist spirit. The firsfruits offering given for this special time and in obedience to the seventh year Sabbath rest ordinance is different from the other first fruits we give because this offering is geared to helping remove poverty from the church corporately. We can see examples of how this was done and the supernatural outcomes that resulted from it in Acts 2:42-47 and 4:32-34.

The Church has gone and continues to go through the strenuous training of the Lord to be cleansed from all anti-Christ influence (Religion, Mammon worship, and the Jezebel spirit) in order to become those who prepare the way of the Lord. This will usher a great move of God in the earth and in this hour through His Spirit. In addition, there are vessels that have been prepared to operate in the spirit and power of Elijah like John the Baptist which means that they are interceding and bringing the manifestation through their prayers for unity and reconciliation in the Church to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,’ and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.” NLT

These vessels of God have been made ready for this hour and are coming to the forefront to help people position themselves by reconciling with everything and everyone that has been scattered in their lives due to many possible reasons. This primarily signifies the bringing families to a state of unity and love they have not experienced before. It also includes spiritual families where there have been strife and division. For this the Lord is leading those that have turned away back to the ones they walked away from and the things of God they walked away from. Obeying this mandate is important and with courage we must take the steps of faith led by the Lord that will help us be prepared and positioned for the Lord’s coming by His Spirit in our lives to bring the manifestations of many promises made to His people. We want to avoid the result of not obeying this command as outlined in Malachi 4:5-6,

⁵ “Look, I am sending you the prophet Elijah before the great and dreadful day of the Lord arrives. ⁶ His preaching will turn the hearts of fathers to their children, and the hearts of children to their fathers. Otherwise I will come and strike the land with a curse.” NLT

In addition, it is crucial that we spend time seeking the Presence of the Lord individually and corporately in order to obtain the prosperity of our souls that 3 John 1:2 admonishes us to do. Without this, we cannot attain the spiritual maturity and knowledge necessary to obtain the levels of revelation and faith that will lead us to the manifestation of the promises of God for us and all that pertains to us. Isaiah 51:1 says, “Listen to Me, you who follow after righteousness, You who seek the Lord: Look to the rock from which you were hewn, And to the hole of the pit from which you were dug. NKJV

This signifies that the Lord spoke to us a mandate and command, but perhaps because of fear and apprehension, doubt and unbelief, or lack of knowledge and understanding, we have not obeyed that word and that is keeping us from moving forward to the things we want to see manifested in our lives. Our job now is to entreat Him for clarity of that word of command if that is what we need in order to position ourselves in the place where we will see the heavens open over our lives or what is the next move in our process. We cannot advance without having obeyed the last word of assignment we were given. This also means that our lack of obedience has also caused others that are to be positioned with us not be able to do it until we make our necessary move which can delay things for others as well. This includes those that we influence or that are entrusted of God to be under our care as intercessors or teachers, flock, etc.

Furthermore, as stated in the other teachings of this series and others in this blog page, failure to comply with the ordinance of the Lord for this year will result in experiencing the effect of the scrawny cows eating up the fatness of our land for several years. The reason this happens is because the land is yearning for this rest and will expel everything that was not surrendered to God in obedience without us being able to conjure it away. If what God is asking us to do is reconcile to others we have wronged somehow, or to restore something to someone that we have the ability to restore to them, or to give of our finances, then let’s do it without fear because our sacrificial giving and obedience will protect us from crop failure in the next seven years. This is to be done every seven years and that is why Joseph was prepared by God as an administrator and government official second to Pharaoh. His job was to help Pharaoh and the people of the land implement with obedience the ordinance of the Sabbath rest. This saved his family, but the Egyptians that did not obey the ordinance found themselves having to sell their lands and possessions in order to survive the recession in their land. 

Many of us have seen this phenomenon manifested every seven years in the earth and God wants to see things happen different for the Church this year and for those He’s calling out of the darkness of the world and its system. One important outcome of the obedience of the Church to this ordinance is a massive wealth transfer that will place the wealth of the sinner in the hands of God’s righteous people that have been prepared for this wealth transference as in the days of Joseph and the early Church (please see the other teachings in this series and others such as Seven Year Sabbath 5775 posted on May 14/2014 and Meaning of the Four Blood Moons for the Body of Christ posted on April 14/2014 to seek understanding of this ordinance).

Moreover, there will be an igniting of revival fire in the land that will transform and reform society as we know it. The early Church experienced this and gives us examples of everything that will be manifested during this time and starting this year due to our obedience of the ordinance of the Seventh Sabbath Year of rest. The book of Acts relates these examples of more prayer, more boldness to evangelize, more giving and the grace of God to remove poverty from the church, etc. But there was also the manifestation of the Judicial Christ by His Spirit to those who tried to make a mockery of the purity of the move of the Holy Spirit during that time because they were used of the enemy to try to encroach the manifestation of the anti-Christ spirit through their mammon worship and controlling ways of Jezebel and the independent and defiant ways of the religious spirit.

God is asking us to get in position and become disciples of Him through the vessels He has prepared for such a time as this that are emerging in leadership along with those they are partnering with that are already seasoned in the knowledge of the Lord and of His ways. This is not a one person movement, but of the person of the Holy Spirit, so none will take the glory for the supernatural manifestations of the Spirit of God in these end-times. We are called to be partakers and not just expectators of the revival that will touch every industry, every government, and every person that will be enveloped in His cloud of glory.
