Hebrews 6:1
“Therefore leaving the elementary teaching about the Christ, let us press on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,” NASB
The body of Christ has reached the highest level of the last dimension and is now invited to come up to a higher dimension and reach all the levels that pertain to it. From this new plane, we will learn new truths that were hidden and inaccessible in the lower dimensions because those were levels of elemental teachings about God and the ways of His Kingdom.
God has given us awesome promises that we can only obtain and sustain from our relationship with Him. From this relationship is that we receive the revelations that help us grow in our image of Him. For this, we're required to heed His call to come up higher to where He can reveal Himself to us in new ways. Revelation 4:1 says,
“After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven, and the first voice which I had heard, like the sound of a trumpet speaking with me, said, “‘Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after these things.’” NASB
Also, in this new dimension, new levels of the renewal of our mind will help us walk in higher levels of purity and the cleansing of our hands. This is necessary and comes from forsaking all idolatry and from coming out of agreement with the lies of the enemy. This new level will also turn us into higher-level disciples that get ready for the pouring of the new wine of His Word as we embrace the higher levels of truth He brings us to like when children leave elementary level learning and now it’s time for them to learn higher levels of the different subjects they have studied in school.
Psalm 24:3-6
“Who can possibly ascend the mountain of the Eternal? Who can stand before Him in sacred spaces? Only those whose hands have been washed and hearts made pure, men and women who are not given to lies or deception. The Eternal will stand close to them with blessing and mercy at hand, and the God who redeems will right what has been wrong. These are the people who chase after Him; [like Jacob, they look for the face of God].” VOICE
Romans 12:1-2
“Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies [dedicating all of yourselves, set apart] as a living sacrifice, holy and well-pleasing to God, which is your rational (logical, intelligent) act of worship. And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].” AMP
Something else we will find in this new dimension is that we will fall in love with the Lover of our soul all over again and pursue Him with single eyes of devotion like doves’ eyes. We will also learn to live to please Him and do His perfect will for us and others. This comes from wanting nothing else to take the place of our beloved in our hearts because our eyes have been opened to the One we belong to and we know that He also belongs to us.
Song of Solomon 5:10-12
“...Because my love is radiant and ruddy, he stands out above 10,000 other men. His head is pure gold; his hair is thick and wavy and black as a raven. His eyes are like doves at the edge of a stream, mounted like jewels and bathed in pools of milk.” VOICE
As we have learned, this new dimension requires that we pursue our relationship with God in a new way and seek His face like never before. Seeking God’s face means that we engage in relentless pursuit of Him like when we want someone that is walking away to turn around and look at us. That person may have rejected us, but we don’t take no for an answer. God does not reject us. In fact, we will never understand the depth of His love for us, but now this pursuit becomes mutual.
This is a picture of how much this new dimension requires that we seek to grow in our knowledge of Him and our desire to be in and in consciousness of His presence. This is what happened to David and no matter what he went through he always turned to his God to stir himself in the fire of His love for him, which made David free to express his love back to God in worship. From this, he could always go back and face the elements that resisted his journey to the top of the mountain with hope and assurance that God is with him and for him.
But more importantly, this constant pursuit of God’s presence got David so close to His heart that he was able to receive wisdom for the circumstances he encountered, strategies to confront his enemies, and victory in every battle. In this place, he also discovered true peace and comfort in times of trouble for all comforts of the world paled in comparison with the loving arms of His Lord. In this place, David was also reassured that with God all things are possible as he learned what really mattered—to know the heart of His God and follow it.
Acts 13:22
“And when He had removed him, He raised up David to be their king: of him He testified and said, ‘ I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart [conforming to My will and purposes], who will do all My will.’” AMP
In this new dimension, we will not find a crowd because God requires oneness with us. Nor will we receive many applauses from others that may feel uncomfortable as they realize the transformation in us that is happening right before their eyes. That is because we will no longer be like children tossed to and fro with every wind of doctrine.
Our seeking to know the heart of our One and only God keeps us from the distractions of the world which no longer entices us because our spiritual maturity will be more evident to those around us. The way we talk and the things that matter to us now come from the heart of God, not from His hand. We want what He wants and we stay away from what doesn’t please Him, whatever that might be.
Here, all we care about is to lean on His bosom to see things the way He sees them, and to hear His voice. Our worship of Him also goes to a whole new level. Yes, the world will hate us for it but we won’t care because we will be too mesmerized with our One true love. So much that our transformation in His presence will turn us into people that can’t wait to talk about our love, our friend, our God and share what He’s like to others to make them hungry for Him, for we want them to taste and see how Good He is.
This is what happened to the Samaritan woman in John 4:7-44. In so many words, John tells us that when she was operating in lower dimensions, she was hungry to know love and acceptance, not only as a woman, but as a person that had a lot to offer the world. But her low-level understanding of these things caused her to find these answers in the way the world gives them. She lived with no satisfaction until the day she encountered Jesus. It was Him who introduced her to a new dimension where she was able to find the answers to every single one of her longings.
John 4:7-10, 13-18,
7-10 “A woman of Samaria *came to draw water. Jesus *said to her, ‘Give Me a drink.’ So the Samaritan woman *said to Him, ‘How is it that You, though You are a Jew, are asking me for a drink, though I am a Samaritan woman?’ (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.) Jesus replied to her, ‘If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who is saying to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.’” NASB
13-18 “Jesus answered and said to her, ‘Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again; but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never be thirsty; but the water that I will give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up to eternal life.’ The woman *said to Him, ‘Sir, give me this water so that I will not be thirsty, nor come all the way here to draw water.’ He *said to her, ‘Go, call your husband and come here.’ The woman answered and said to Him, ‘I have no husband.’ Jesus *said to her, ‘You have correctly said, ‘I have no husband’; for you have had five husbands, and the one whom you now have is not your husband; this which you have said is true.’” NASB
From this encounter, she discovered who she really was and what is the key to becoming a true worshiper of our God. In this new dimension, she learned that God is a Spirit and those who worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth for these are the kind of worshipers He seeks. These are people who are more concerned with living on earth as citizens of heaven (Philippians 1:27 NLT) and want nothing to do with the lower ways of the world other than to be used by God to transform it like they are being transformed.
They know they’re living in this world but are not of it (John 17:16), and knowing that they too are a spirit that dwells in a body, they pursue to know their supernatural God that helps them transcend all earthly limitations to bring His Kingdom to earth. For this reason, their language and spiritual stance is no longer of this world and they will never be the same again nor will the world around them. For they have learned to function out of heavenly places where Christ is seated at the right hand of the Father. From this place, they now command into existence in the earth, what they heard Him say and saw Him do, and that is also what they say and do in the earth. All they have to do to access it is say yes to His call and praise Him to enter in.
John 4:21-25
“Jesus *said to her, ‘Believe Me, woman, that a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, because salvation is from the Jews. But a time is coming, and even now has arrived, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.’ The woman *said to Him, ‘I know that Messiah is coming (He who is called Christ); when that One comes, He will declare all things to us.’ Jesus *said to her, ‘I am He, the One speaking to you.’” NASB
Colossians 3:1-2
“Therefore, if you have been raised with Christ, keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on the things that are above, not on the things that are on earth.” NASB
John 5:19-20
“Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in the same way. For the Father loves the Son and shows Him all things that He Himself is doing; and the Father will show Him greater works than these, so that you will be amazed.” NASB
To God alone be all the glory.*
